Restaurant MERTIA
Una experiencia gastronómica elevada en el corazón de Stellenbosch, llamada así por la abuela de la propietaria Marais Kirsten-Uys, quien le enseñó que todo lo que vale la pena hacer vale la pena hacerlo bien. MERTIA es la culminación de un sueño de toda la vida, hecho realidad por Marais y el chef Matt van den Berg, cuyo talento para una cena elevada se basa en ingredientes frescos y locales. Cruzando el antiguo gracht desde la Plaza De Wet, dejas atrás el ajetreo y te entregas a una experiencia en constante evolución de celebrar estar juntos.
El restaurante sirve menú degustación. El menú tiene profundas raíces en la cocina con sabores locales y productos orgánicos, con un guiño a la herencia sudafricana.

Mertia - Quedé completamente impresionado tanto por la comida como por el servicio. El plato principal me llevó directamente a mis días de estudiante en Stellenbosch, de la mejor manera posible. Es una verdadera expresión de nostalgia, algo por lo que realmente lucho en mi propia cocina, hecha de una manera tan refinada y hermosa.
